I turn XR design visions into interactive prototypes rapidly.
I bridge the gap between design and engineering to validate design vision quickly and iteratively. At Microsoft Mixed Reality, I drive multimodal designs and prototypes for Windows Volumetric Apps, a 3D and spatial extension of the biggest professional apps ecosystem in the world. We shipped the seamless connection between Windows 11 and Meta Quest devices, introducing Windows to over 20 million mixed reality users.
I envision and design three-dimensionally and spatially.
With a background in both computer science and architectural design, I'm proficient in spatial thinking and 3D workflows. The XR design industry has adopted the term "spatial design," which used to describe architecture. But XR UX is far from spatial and is just beginning to leverage the z-axis. Space, body, and the z-axis are core to the next computing paradigm and at the center of what I do. Check out my thoughts on gestural interactions.
I incubate wearable hardware from zero to one.
Socially acceptable (and desirable) wearables are the next experience enablers. At MIT Media Lab, I collaborated with material scientists to leverage cutting edge fluidic fiber and prototype a thin and light XR haptic glove. The pneumatic actuation and pump resemble regular fiber by its look and manufacturability.
I apply the latest in AI technology to product thinking.
At Microsoft, I proactively explore the potential of LLMs and generative 3D in new interaction paradigms in XR. I engage with cross-functional partners to incubate new AI hardware. At UiPath, the leading enterprise AI Automation company, I spearheaded the design of a North Star navigational experience for the Automation Cloud platform that impacts 7000+ enterprise users worldwide.
